Youth Faith Formation

We Model the Very Faith We Strive to Share in Lessons

A core group of volunteers has continued to provide faith formation for children of all ages especially those preparing for the sacraments.

Sacred Heart of Margaretville, provides an interesting situation for faith formation. The vast majority of our 10+ students are known to us outside the program and our church. We know their parents, see them at school, and encounter them in the community. It allows us all to model the very faith we strive to share in lessons. It also provides opportunities to align our teaching with community events and characteristics.

Our parish encourages children to be actively involved in living the Catholic faith. Students at each grade level will have opportunities to use their talents and gifts to be of service to others in and outside of our community
